Health System Specialist

Duties

Coordinate with various internal facility departments to plan and have a representative conduct a variety of management studies including employee performance, time and motion, cost effectiveness, equipment utilization, and organizational structure.

Plan programs and manage the annual operating budget consisting of appropriated and reimbursable funds.

Maintains and manage the resource control ledgers of financial accountability for the clinic.

Establish internal controls and perform administrative and management functions.

Coordinate clinical activities and inter-hospital activities as the primary clinic representative for the Clinical Support Service QMG, TRICARE contract initiative and other committees.

Serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to local Contracting Officer for the administrative support of civilian contracts, the provider and nursing contracts for the Clinic.

Plan and revise work schedules and assignments to assure an even flow and distribution of work, the expeditious handling of priorities, to ensure that schedules and deadlines are met and to meet changes in workload.
