Maintenance Technician Phoenix, AZ

We're hiring dependable Maintenance Mechanic who will be responsible for repairing and maintaining production machinery and equipment. Mechanics work independently or in small teams to ensure a safe and efficient manufacturing production environment.

Company Description This is a well established paper company with locations throughout the United States. The Phoenix location is their busiest location printing 108,000 bills within a 10 hour period candidates who want to grow and develop throughout their career.

Job Duties Specific Job Skills:

• Keep production running by troubleshooting and repairing equipment fast
• Handle preventative maintenance to avoid downtime
• Support larger repairs by working with vendors
• Order parts and keep maintenance organized
• Train operators on basic fixes and best practices
• Makes repairs to machinery and equipment in a timely manner.
• Completes preventative maintenance activities on machinery and equipment based on established guidelines.
• Reports major machinery and equipment issues and problems to Mechanic Supervisor/Manager.
• Works with external vendors if needed to facilitate machinery and equipment repairs.
• Prepares orders and processes for replacement parts as needed.
• Facility maintenance.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Schedule

Must be able to train for a few months on 1st shift then will be moved to 2nd shift once training completed

Pay:$25+ an hour DOE

Schedule : Monday -Friday

A-Shift:Monday 5am-2:18pm Tuesday-Friday 6am-2:18pm (training for the first few months)

B-Shift: Monday-Thursday 2pm-10:18pm Friday 2pm-11:18pm

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with individuals and groups both within and external to the company to achieve desired results. Demonstrated ability to analyze an issue/problem and make recommendations for an effective and efficient resolution. Excellent verbal communication skills. Proven commitment to providing excellent customer service within all dimensions of the job duties on a consistent basis. Knowledge of Solid State Electronics and DC Voltage Facility Maintenance Education: High School Diploma/GED

Experience: 2-plus years in a manufacturing environment.
