The Opportunity As an Area Sales Executive, you will own and drive enterprise sales within an assigned territory. You will target CISOs, VPs of Application/AI Security, and Chief AI Officers to guide them through the entire sales lifecycle - from initial discovery and live product demonstrations to executive alignment and contract closing. Pipeline Generation & Territory Ownership: Build and execute a strategic territory plan to discover, qualify, and close high-value enterprise accounts. Lead complex, consultative sales cycles with technical and executive stakeholders, delivering tailored solutions and product demonstrations. Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to refine go-to-market strategies, support account expansion, and relay real-time market feedback. Industry Representation: Engage actively in industry events, webinars, and regional cybersecurity networks to elevate the PointGuard AI brand. Proven Enterprise Track Record: 4+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience selling cybersecurity, AI software, or complex SaaS platforms to enterprise buyers. Strong familiarity selling to CISOs, AppSec & Data governance leaders, and AI executives. Ability to translate complex AI security, governance, and risk concepts into clear, executive-level business value. Self-Driven Hunter Mentality: Exceptional pipeline development skills, territory discipline, and experience managing end-to-end sales cycles in a remote environment. Sales Tech Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with modern CRM and sales stack tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for accurate forecasting and reporting. Thrives in an agile, early-stage, fast-paced environment with a passion for emerging technology.
