Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered, RT PEDS Richmond, Virginia. This position provides respiratory care in a critical care environment, including ventilator management and bedside bronchoscopy support. The role requires a collaborative, positive approach to patient care and participation in a rotating weekend schedule.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist credential; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Virginia licensure to practice as a respiratory care practitioner; credentialing by NBRCH; at least 1 year of experience; critical care experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week; every other weekend required.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include respiratory care for critically ill patients, ventilator management, noninvasive ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, and bedside bronchoscopy support. Float rotation to an affiliated campus may be required as needed. Navy scrubs are required. A positive, team-oriented approach and strong patient-care skills are expected.
