Production Fabricator

Overview Now hiring for a Production Fabricator Location: Bessemer, AL Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Keep the Line Rolling and the Pay Coming. Join a team that runs on effort and pride. This Production Fabricator role in Bessemer supports manufacturing quality products, production goals, and safe, efficient operations. Responsibilities (Job Duties) Grind, sand, deburr, and polish metal parts using hand grinders, belt sanders, buffers, and other finishing equipment Remove burrs, weld splatter, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from fabricated components Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production instructions Prepare metal surfaces for painting, powder coating, or assembly Safely operate grinders, polishers, and other hand and power tools Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment and report mechanical issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow production schedules and company quality standards Assist other departments as needed to support manufacturing operations Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Experience in metal grinding, polishing, deburring, or metal fabrication preferred Experience using hand grinders, pneumatic tools, belt sanders, and polishing equipment Ability to read tape measures and basic manufacturing drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
