Travel/Contract Acute Care Registered Nurse - Up to $3,200/week!

Acute Care Nurse

Deliver high-quality acute care and medical-surgical nursing services during a 13-week local travel assignment in Garberville, California. This role supports patient care and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment while providing an opportunity to experience Northern California's outdoor lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to acute care patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders and protocols.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Follow infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies.
• Respond to changes in patient status and participate in emergency interventions when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
• Active California RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Valid medical-surgical nursing experience
• Current clinical credentials must remain valid throughout assignment

Preferred Skills:

• Acute Care experience strongly preferred
