Office Equipment Available: Onsite lab, XRay
Specialty Backup Available: 2 physicians, 2 APPs onsite
Support Staff Available: 2 physicians, 2 APPs

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Endoscopy (Upper and Lower)
Inpatient Consults

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified (will consider truly Board Eligible)
Licenses: Active Michigan (MI) License and CSR; Universal License (IMLC) acceptable if dates 60+ days out
DEA: Active DEA required (verbal confirmation at name clear)
Certifications: ACLS
Experience: Completed Fellowship with minimum 2-3 years of experience required
Other Qualifications: Local candidates only (driving distance); COVID Vaccine required; Clean background (minor malpractice acceptable)

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform outpatient and inpatient endoscopy procedures (upper and lower)
Provide inpatient GI consultations within scheduled hours
Cover 24-hour weekend call (Sat/Sun) without weeknight call
Document patient encounters in Cerner EMR
Collaborate with on-site physicians and APPs to deliver comprehensive care
