As a Personal Banker within PNC's retail organization, you will be based in Houston, TX. *Bilingual Spanish Preferred. Job Responsibilities Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing. Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer’s share of wallet. Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty. Drive proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service‑to‑sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement. Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions. Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships. Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs. Educate customers on managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively. Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrate sound judgment within established limits, and avoid loss. Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent; 3+ years of experience in retail banking or related field. Knowledge of banking products, digital awareness, and effective communications. Skills in client loyalty, proactive sales, customer experience (CX), and leveraging technology. Ability to manage multiple priorities, understand customer needs, and solve problems. Experience in prospecting, selling, and understanding risk management. Preferred: Experience with matrix management and retail lending. Education & Certifications No degree required if compensated by equivalent experience and certifications. No specific certifications or licenses required for this position.
