FP&A Analyst

Financial Planning Analyst | Venteon This is a full-time role for a Financial Planning Analyst, located in the metro Detroit area, working for a leading manufacturing company. This position plays a critical role in managing financial performance, providing detailed analysis, and supporting strategic financial planning. The TL;DR Role: Full Time Type: Full-time Location: In-person, metro Detroit area Team: Reports directly to the Global Manager of FP&A Mission: To provide timely and detailed analysis of key financial metrics and trends, translating data into actionable information to impact profitability. Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Oracle HFM, Hyperion Planning What You’ll Actually Do Manage: Oversee the monthly financial performance management and reporting framework. Analyze: Work closely with corporate teams to provide timely and detailed analysis of key performance metrics, financial trends, and other business aspects impacting profitability. Present: Prepare and present consolidated financial reports and analyses, offering insight through variance analysis reporting. Coordinate: Support and coordinate the budget, long-range financial plan, and financial forecasts and reviews. Oversee: Own Global Headcount and Department Reporting processes, including People Cost reporting in collaboration with Human Resources. The Must-Haves Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; strong analytical background and knowledge of financial statements with an attention to detail. Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant Financial Planning & Analysis experience; prior finance experience in reporting and performing variance analyses; Tier one Auto supplier experience preferred. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; effective communication & interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with colleagues across departments and internationally. Bonus: MBA or other Master’s degree; relevant certification such as CFA or CPA; experience in Power BI, Oracle HFM, and Hyperion Planning. #J-18808-Ljbffr
