Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Opportunity: Physician Assistant - Surgery Cardiothoracic Job Details: Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM on a 24-hour call basis Cover 3 weekends per month on an ongoing basis Support urgent surgical cases, including patients transitioning from the cath lab to surgery Manage patients from ICU through discharge, with stable patients waiting until Monday when appropriate Perform vein harvesting as a special procedure Treat adult patient population ages 18 and older Utilize EPIC EMR system Work within a 163-bed hospital setting with surgeon available for backup after consult Minimum of 3 years of experience required Active PA license required DEA required Acute care certificate is NOT required Facility: This facility is a community hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including advanced cardiac and surgical care.
