We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Support Specialist to support students in a school-based setting in Delaware. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, patient, and proactive professional who enjoys helping students develop positive behaviors, strengthen emotional regulation, and reach their full potential. This is not a direct care role. You'll be working with under the guidance of a BCBA and school psychologist to help students develop positive behaviors, reduce disruptions, and support students' academic progress. Submit your resume today as applications are currently being reviewed for interview consideration.Role Responsibilities:Provide training, consultations, and plan behavior strategies with special education staffCollaborate with the school psychologists and BCBAs to plan behavioral interventions and strategies for studentsProvide training, consultation, and modeling behavior strategies for staff, and work in collaboration with school staffConducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and data-driven decisions/collectionProvide crisis support for students and physical restraintsRequirements:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Behavior Analysis, or a related field preferredStrong knowledge of ABA and ABA principles to teach/coach, train, and reinforce appropriate classroom behaviors, coping strategies, social skills, and emotional regulationExcellent data collection, documentation, and observation skills to monitor student behaviors and identify patterns, triggers, and areas for improvementExperience conducting FBAs and developing BIPsCPI, Safety Care, and/or physical restraint certificationK-12 school-setting experience with behavioral studentsAbility to be proactive, work independently and manage multiple responsibilitiesMinimum of Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or related fieldMust apply for or hold a Instructional Paraprofessional Permit with Delaware Department of EducationSoliant benefits include: competitive pay, weekly paychecks, health insurance, 401(k) with employer match, school-year schedules, work-life balance, nationwide opportunities, licensing assistance, professional development, travel opportunities, dedicated recruiter support, simple onboarding process, assignment flexibility, and the chance to make a difference in students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development!
