About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Data Officer to lead the definition and execution of its enterprise data strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for affirming data as a key asset to drive business growth, advisor productivity, and client outcomes. This role involves owning the firm's data agenda, including prioritizing use cases, and ensuring that data capabilities have a measurable business impact. The CDO will also oversee data governance, engineering, and analytics to provide a unified view of client and business data. Key responsibilities include establishing data standards, and quality, and a scalable architecture, as well as driving the adoption of data initiatives across the organization. Applicants for the Chief Data Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in technology, data, or business, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in data, analytics, or technology within financial services. A background in wealth management is preferred. The role requires a proven track record in building and scaling business-focused data capabilities, experience with enterprise data warehouses and modern data tools, and a strong understanding of governance, architecture, and analytics ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving data adoption in a decentralized environment, familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations, and a demonstrated ability to deliver measurable outcomes. Leadership skills, including the ability to build and develop high-performing data and analytics teams, are essential.
