HM Furnace Equipment Technician

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a production role with demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of and experience with teh combustion systems, refractory, bearings & lubrication systems, and rolling processes. Demonstrated ability to interact with vendors, manage inventory of consumable items, and track/manage area cost. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
