You will work to provide the highest quality appraisals and consulting solutions to our clients. You will work regionally as a part of our national self-storage practice to inspect and analyze self-storage assets locally and potentially regionally as an integral team member in producing thorough reports, meeting deadlines, and fostering client relationships. The Vice President will primarily work on an individual basis initially, but may add Analyst and/or Associate resources over time and could be considered as a regional lead within our national self-storage practice.Responsibilities and DutiesEnsure execution and delivery of appraisal & valuation consulting engagementsPerform analysis of market and property information in order to develop valuation model(s) and client deliverablesOversee preparation of necessary exhibits and memos in illustration of complex issuesEnsure quality controls are adhered in association with all work productsParticipate in internal and external client meetingsBuild strong relationships with market and business line leaders to exchange best practices, accelerate innovation and ensure quality and consistencyBegin to participate in client development efforts in the local market/region.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant field required5+ years of real estate valuation experienceStrategic understanding of commercial real estate appraisalLicenses & CertificationsActive Certified General Appraiser License, requiredMAI designation or candidate, preferredPhysical RequirementsMust be able to travel to asset toursMust be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone and via emailsVisual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screenMust be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English Salary range: $50,000 - $150,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program, which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
