Comprehensive Therapy Consultants (CTC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate  Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in partnership with  Dysart Unified School District . What You'll Do

As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will:

• Provide accurate and effective interpretation between spoken English and American Sign Language (ASL) for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students throughout the school day.
• Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, assemblies, field trips, extracurricular activities, and other school-related events as assigned.
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, administrators, staff, and peers while maintaining the integrity and intent of all communication.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and educational teams to promote student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and other educational planning meetings as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards, ethics, and district policies.
• Support an inclusive learning environment that encourages student independence and self-advocacy.
• Remain current on educational interpreting best practices through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Educational Interpreter certification, state credential, or ability to meet Arizona requirements for school-based interpreters.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Previous experience interpreting in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary educational teams.
• Passion for supporting students and creating equitable access to education.
