Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Variable – straight days not available) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients across varying acuity levels
• Perform triage and manage patients requiring continuous monitoring and intervention
• Administer and manage IV medications and sedation as indicated
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float to other affiliated facilities as needed based on staffing and patient care requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with Emergency Department experience – firm requirement
• At least one previous travel assignment – firm requirement
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Two completed references from most recent employer required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I Trauma Center experience
• Experience with continuous IV sedation
• Triage experience in an emergency department setting
