Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a focus on Pediatric and Neonate care within a Level 4 NICU environment. This position requires expertise in providing exceptional respiratory care for infants and children.

Key Details

Shift: 3x12 days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Holiday Rotation: Required
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Qualifications

Years of Experience Required: 2 years in a pediatric or neonatal setting
Certifications Required:
- RRT certification
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
Accepted Certifications/Licenses: NBRC and South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP)
Experience Required: Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant care
Epic Experience: Preferred

Miscellaneous Information

Block Schedule Accommodation: Open to discussion upon approval, but not guaranteed
Radius Rule: 60 miles; locals may be accepted on a case-by-case basis
Pending State License: South Carolina RRT license must be available at the time of start
RTO Restrictions: All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application
