Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU

This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients in a Level 4 NICU setting, including infants and neonates with complex cardiac conditions.

Shift & Scheduling

• Shift: 3x12 hours, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Rotation: Required

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy to pediatric patients, ensuring the highest level of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess respiratory status, making appropriate recommendations for care adjustments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric respiratory care, specifically in neonates and infants.
• Required Certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP.
• Licenses: Must hold a valid RRT license in South Carolina.
• Epic charting experience is preferred.

Additional Information

• Open to considering block scheduling, pending prior approval.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be communicated at the time of application.
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
• During hurricane season (June to November), all staff may be required to participate in emergency response efforts. Ensure availability during this period before confirming assignment.
