Job Duties
Supervises and provides technical guidance and direction to civilian staff assigned within the Administrative Services Division.
Serves as the official mail manager (OMM) for the installation and has full oversight of the official postal center (OPC) program.
Completes a variety of complex staff actions that require coordination with key stakeholders, legal counsel, and senior leadership to properly analyze publication requests across a diverse set of functional areas.
Serves as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) Officer and administers the programs at the installation level.
Promotes compliance with records management using a variety of methods to include conferences, meetings, work groups, taskers, and file clean-up campaigns.
Develops, executes, and amends policies and/or procedures to ensure the currency of the program with DoD and United States Postal Service (USPS) standards.
Reviews and analyzes responsive documents to ensure they align with current federal laws and established Department of Defense (DoD) policies.
