Position Overview

The State of Arizona - AZDWR is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise applications supporting agency operations. The role will work closely with Business Analysts, functional users, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, maintain applications, and support Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL, and Oracle platforms.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Lead Developer on one or more Salesforce implementations
• 7+ years of developer experience or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 3+ years of SQL experience
• Active Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
• Strong Salesforce development, configuration, and administration
• Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
• Experience assessing existing systems and refactoring/redesigning solutions
• Experience with Salesforce APIs and integrations
• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server
• Experience with Agile methodologies and source control

Preferred / Plus Skills

• Salesforce Certified Public Sector Solutions Consultant - highly preferred
• Salesforce Advanced Developer / Platform Developer II certification
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado
• Experience with OmniStudio for interactive and guided user experiences
• Advanced MuleSoft integration experience
• Experience with REST APIs / API design and implementation

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications across Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL, and Oracle platforms.
• Analyze and reverse-engineer existing applications and code to identify improvements and develop enhancements.
• Assess existing systems and refactor/redesign solutions for improved performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, functional users, and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Participate in planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of new applications.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce Public Sector Solutions applications and APIs.
• Design and implement integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Support application interfaces and ensure compliance with technology directives, regulations, and agency requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, application specifications, and development standards.
• Participate in Agile development processes and maintain effective source control/versioning practices.
• Provide application troubleshooting, maintenance, and production support.
• Manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions within project deadlines.
