Neurocritical Care Physician Assistant Fort Worth, TX

Position Overview Physician Assistant experienced in Neurosurgery and/or Neurocritical Care. Practice at the full scope of training and license by being part of the Neurocritical care team as neurosurgical call support. PA is responsible for incoming neurosurgical patients through ED/Trauma and support of in-house neurosurgical patients overnight. Location: Fort Worth, Texas. Responsibilities Consults & follow ups for Neurosurgery ICU patients and inpatient rounding – management of Neurosurgery patients as part of the Neurocritical Care Team Support neurosurgical on-call team as part of the Neurocritical Care Group Respond to emergency neurosurgical needs during 12‑hour shifts, rotating weekdays and weekends Maintain patient care duties with in‑house neurosurgical patients overnight Benefits Competitive salary plus comprehensive benefits package including CME, malpractice coverage, and 401(k) Requirements Active Texas license Physician Assistant Board Certification Experience in critical care or neurosurgery area; ICU & CCU required Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an approved PA program Master’s degree Physician Assistant required Interest and experience in Neurocritical Care APP highly encouraged Legal Notice The Physician Assistant will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
