Position Summary

\n

\n

We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative to grow sales of our high-performance industrial marking systems and precision optical inspection products.

\n

\n

The ideal candidate is a self-driven salesperson who is comfortable developing new business, building long-term customer relationships, and learning technical products well enough to recommend the right solution for each application.

\n

\n

This position combines business development, technical product sales, account management, and customer support. The successful candidate will work with customers across manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, electronics, medical device, quality-control, and other technical markets.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Develop new customers through prospecting, outbound calls, email, networking, referrals, and industry contacts.
\n
• Identify new markets and sales opportunities for industrial marking and optical inspection products.
\n
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
\n
• Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
\n
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and product information for prospective customers.
\n
• Follow up on leads, quotations, samples, and open sales opportunities.
\n
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations as needed.
\n
• Work with customers to understand technical requirements, specifications, and application challenges.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications, opportunities, quotations, and follow-up activities.
\n
• Coordinate with internal production, technical, and customer-service personnel to ensure customer requirements are met.
\n
• Follow up after the sale to promote customer satisfaction and repeat business.
\n
• Identify opportunities for additional products and applications within existing accounts.
\n
• Stay informed about competitive products, industry developments, and customer needs.
\n
• Meet established sales and business-development goals.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Previous experience in B2B sales, technical sales, industrial sales, manufacturing sales, or a related field preferred.
\n
• Ability and willingness to actively prospect for new business.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Comfortable communicating with engineers, purchasing departments, production personnel, quality-control professionals, and business owners.
\n
• Ability to understand technical products and explain their benefits clearly.
\n
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
\n
• Self-motivated and capable of managing a sales territory and pipeline.
\n
• Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other standard business software.
\n
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a small team.
\n
• Manufacturing, industrial equipment, marking, printing, optics, inspection, or related experience is a plus.
\n

You should be curious about how customers manufacture, mark, identify, and inspect their products and be comfortable asking questions to determine the best solution for their application.

Technical expertise in our products can be learned. Sales initiative, professionalism, persistence, and strong follow-through are essential.

Compensation

\n

Competitive base salary plus commission, with compensation based on experience and demonstrated sales ability. $70,000 - $130,000 annually.
