We collaborate with biopharma, AI drug discovery companies and academic institutions to advance therapeutics development.\n\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Research Technician to support DNA workflows, scaled protein synthesis and daily laboratory operations. Working closely with our research scientists, you will prepare and track samples, execute established protocols and help keep high-throughput experiments running accurately and efficiently.\nThis is a hands-on bench role for someone who takes pride in careful experimental work, clear records and an organized laboratory. You will work independently on established procedures after training, with scientific guidance for troubleshooting and unfamiliar tasks. Recent graduates with relevant research experience are encouraged to apply.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n· Prepare, label and organize large DNA libraries, maintaining accurate inventory records and traceability from preparation through use.\n· Execute established DNA handling, protein synthesis and assay workflows under the guidance of research scientists.\n· Operate automated liquid handlers following training, monitor runs and assist with routine troubleshooting; promptly flag errors or unexpected results.\n· Prepare laboratory reagents and buffers, check calculations and label materials with the information needed for reliable use and storage.\n· Record procedures, sample details, results and deviations accurately in laboratory notebooks or electronic records.\n· Manage DNA and other sample inventories, including storage locations, retrieval and replenishment needs.\n· Track, order and receive laboratory supplies; verify deliveries and keep reagents and consumables organized and available.\n· Support routine equipment upkeep, workspace cleaning and freezer maintenance, coordinating with scientists to protect stored samples.\n· Follow laboratory safety and waste-handling procedures, communicate progress and issues, and help maintain an orderly shared workspace.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n· BS in molecular biology, cellular biology, immunology, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering or a related field.\n· At least 2 years of hands-on wet-lab experience outside classroom laboratory courses. Relevant undergraduate research, internships and professional laboratory experience may count toward this requirement.\n· Experience handling DNA samples and working with high-throughput workflows, with careful attention to sample identity and contamination prevention.\n· Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques, including accurate pipetting, reagent preparation and sample labeling.\n· Ability to follow written protocols, maintain complete records and recognize when to ask for guidance or report a deviation.\n· Strong organization and time management, with the ability to handle repetitive, detail-intensive tasks consistently and reliably.\n· Ability to complete assigned work independently after training and collaborate effectively with research scientists and other team members.\n· Clear written and verbal communication, commitment to laboratory safety and proficiency with spreadsheets and other basic computer applications.\n· Availability to work onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Experience operating automated liquid handlers.\n· Python coding experience for basic data handling or laboratory workflow support.\n\nWhat You Will Gain\nWork alongside PhD-level research scientists and gain practical experience in protein expression, drug screening and high-throughput assays.
