Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests—spanning areas like chemistry, hematology, and immunology—following established protocols to ensure high-quality results.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibrations on laboratory equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
• Support specimen collection and expertly prepare samples for various tests as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, play a key role in training new staff or students, and assist in maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree is required, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is expected throughout employment.
