Job Description

Job Summary:
The Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer provides specialized cardiac imaging services to patients, performing diagnostic procedures such as TEE, Stress Echo, and 3D strain imaging. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, adhering to protocol standards, and ensuring high-quality imaging to support patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiography procedures including 2D, 3D, TEE, and stress echo imaging.
• Operate GE and Philips ultrasound equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to obtain optimal images and ensure diagnostic quality.
• Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, licensing, and hospital policies.
• Maintain detailed documentation and assist with patient positioning and preparation.
• Float to various facilities as needed, contributing to team flexibility and coverage.

Qualifications:

• Current registered cardiac sonographer credential (ARDMS RDCS, AE).
• Active echocardiography license required prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac sonography.
• Proficient in using GE and Philips ultrasound systems.
• Ability to perform TEE, stress echo, and advanced 3D imaging.
• BLS certification required.
