Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making.
- Provide intensive, comprehensive monitoring and care for neonates in lifethreatening conditions within a Level III/IV NICU.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and efficient patient care; document accurately and maintain infection control practices.
- Support continuity of care by communicating patient status, plan of care, and discharge planning with families and relevant team members.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California (required to work in the NICU setting).
- Neonatal ICU experience preferred; ability to work in a high-acuity NICU environment.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to supervise and coordinate care among nursing staff.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with a nights shift schedule.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
