As we grow our team, we need a Tax Manager who wants to build a long-term career with us!Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to join our team in a hybrid role. This position offers flexibility with low busy season hours, allowing for a better work-life balance. The Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance and planning, ensuring our clients meet their tax obligations while optimizing their tax strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee tax compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients.Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.Review and approve tax returns prepared by staff, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Stay up-to-date with tax law changes and assess their impact on the firm and clients.Communicate effectively with clients to address their tax concerns and provide solutions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.CPA certification is required.Masters is preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.Strong knowledge of tax compliance and planning strategies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.BenefitsCompetitive Compensation Contingent On ExperienceMedical, dental, vision, 401k (with company match) Unlimited PTO and paid holidays Flexibility to work from home Paid parental leave for moms and dads (birthing and adoption) DEI - A culture of belonging Casual dress Team building - parties, contests, wellness, service projects Training - CPE, mentoring, clear path to promotion Cell phones - Phone and data plans 100% covered, add your spouse for $40/month CPA exam - $3,000 bonus and more
