Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Level III NICU night shift position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care NICU experience and BLS/NRP certification. Requirements Active CO or Compact RN license required BLS and NRP certifications required Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital NICU experience required Level III or Level IV NICU experience required Meditech EMR experience preferred PICU experience preferred PALS certification preferred No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US SSN and date of birth required for consideration Responsibilities Work in a 24-bed Level III Neonatal ICU within a hospital setting Care for critically ill neonates including 23-weekers requiring high-acuity interventions Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity Unit utilizes oscillators, ventilators, bubble CPAP, central lines, ABG machines, pump feeds, and telemedicine equipment Uses Meditech EMR Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment length Perform procedures including circumcisions, pneumothorax taps, intubations, and assist with chest tubes and other Level III procedures Administer PIVs, medications, and blood products, and perform blood draws from arterial, heel, and venous sites Provide communication and handoffs to staff and providers Observe patient transitions as the NICU attends all high-risk deliveries No surgeries, nitric oxide therapy, or head/body cooling performed on this unit Candidates should be friendly, approachable, and adaptable to the facility culture Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
