Registered Nurse – NICU

8 week contract, 36 hours per week, Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend and holiday required.

8-week assignment with guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required.
• Prior travel experience is strongly preferred.
• Active nursing license in NJ or a compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
• This is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 12 intensive care bassinets and an additional 15 Level II bassinets.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate families regarding neonatal conditions and care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the NICU.
• Document all care provided accurately in patient records.
