Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to labor and delivery patients, ensuring adherence to all protocols.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and assist with high-risk deliveries.
• Circulate during Cesarean sections and manage patient care pre- and post-procedure.
• Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and execute appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications such as Magnesium Sulfate and manage IV drips.
• Document patient information accurately using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, with a preference for large hospital settings.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required; AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Experience in conducting sterile vaginal exams and circulating for C-sections.
• Must be able to perform under pressure in high-acuity settings.
• Previous travel nursing experience and adaptability to floating between facilities.
