Sr. Radiologic Technologist

Senior Radiologic Technologist
The Senior Radiologic Technologist (x-ray technologist or radiographer) is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of all x-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes. The Senior Radiologic Technologist mentors and provides oversight of the area in the absence of supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or GED; Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program.
- Licenses & Certification:
- Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (Licensed by Texas Medical Board)
- Certified Rad Tech Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
- Basic Life Support Current CPR certification from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
- Work Experience:
- Two (2) years experience as Radiologic Technologist
- Communication Skills: Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking), Writing/Composing, Writing/Reports
- Job Attributes Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities: Analytical abilities, Medical Terminology Knowledge
- Work Schedule: Flexible
- Equipment Operated: Ionizing Radiation equipment, image processing equipment, and other related clinical equipment.
