Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising housekeeping employees and overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. Responsibilities include conducting multiple physical inspections of hotel rooms, suites, guest common areas, and employee areas. The supervisor also assists hotel guests with inquiries and problem resolution, assigns work to room attendants, and trains associates in housekeeping duties. They may also perform cleaning duties. The supervisor writes requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements and examines carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.

Qualifications include prior industry experience, a minimum age of 21, the ability to obtain licenses required by state law, professional appearance and demeanor, effective communication skills, and availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
