Material Handler II 3rd Shift PackagingImplements procedures, tools, and techniques for moving materials throughout and from the manufacturing facilities.Job Requirements:Place finished product in cartons for shipment to the distribution centerGenerate shipping labels using RF gunsLoad pallet with finished cartons, scan shipping labels to create and STO (Bill of Lading)Stretch wrap carton and place on staged trailer bound for distribution centerWork with material planners on priority material to be shippedCommunicate with leaders for follow-up or specific instructions dailyUnload pallet deliveries when askedOperate manual pallet jacks and moving carts constantlyReceive reel request cards from stamping, and platingAssemble reels using an 8 head staple machineMove finished product to area that placed the orderNotify shipping/receiving of any components neededWhat your background should look like:3rd shift5 years of experience in a warehouse with forklift expComputer skills requiredAbility to pass all pre-employment physical testingAbility to work in a team environment with other material handlers on shift as well as assembly / production operatorsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry a maximum weight of 30 lbs safely & dependablyFrequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with handsFrequent standing and walking is required in this jobCompetencies:Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, TeamworkCompensation:Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $37,100 – $55,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)Benefits:A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off and voluntary benefits.
