Help pets find their forever homes by providing exceptional customer service and guidance throughout the adoption process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective adopters in person, by phone, and via email
- Guide adopters through the adoption process and answer questions
- Match pets with adopters based on lifestyle and compatibility
- Process adoption applications and maintain accurate records
- Update adoption information using computer systems and databases
- Support adoption events and community outreach initiatives
- Work with team members to help achieve placement goals
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using computers, email, and data entry systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Compassion for animals and a passion for helping pets find homes
- Ability to work weekends as scheduled
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service, sales, animal welfare, or a related field preferred but not required
