Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Orlando, FL. This role offers a motivated attorney the chance to gain practical experience in courtroom advocacy, case management, and construction-related disputes within a specialized practice. Duties Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents in construction-related matters. Take and defend depositions. Manage active caseload and collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, including participating in dispute resolution proceedings. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar. 1-5 years of litigation experience. Construction law experience preferred, but not required. Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Proficiency in legal research and the ability to translate findings into clear, well-supported written work product. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the Florida Bar. Skills Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
