Customer Care Representative

Location: Columbus, OH
Pay:

• $19.00/hour for entry-level candidates with strong customer service skills and eagerness to learn
• Up to $20.00/hour for candidates with relevant technical, troubleshooting, or customer support experience

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday; 8:30am-5pm
• Mandatory OT up to 2 hours per day during peak season
• Looking to potentially expand hours to 8pmEST and potential for rotating weekend

Training: 

• Training hours will be the same as the work hours
• 3 weeks of training and then they will have support as a Teir 1 agent

Are you a natural problem solver who enjoys helping others? Do you like figuring out how things work, troubleshooting issues, or learning new technical skills?

We're seeking Customer Care Representatives to support customers with outdoor power equipment and home power solutions. In this role, you'll help customers troubleshoot products, answer questions, and provide guidance during situations that often matter most, including severe weather events and power outages.

This is more than a call center job. We're looking for individuals who genuinely care about helping customers, can remain calm under pressure, and enjoy solving problems.

What You'll Do

• Handle incoming customer calls and emails regarding products, warranties, and service requests
• Walk customers through troubleshooting steps to resolve equipment issues
• Research solutions using manuals, schematics, and technical resources
• Provide exceptional customer service with patience, empathy, and professionalism
• Document customer interactions and case details accurately
• Escalate complex issues when necessary
• Follow up on unresolved cases to ensure customer satisfaction
• Meet quality, productivity, and service metrics
• Support customers during peak periods, including severe weather events that may require overtime
