Together, we will become the world's leading cancer reference laboratory.Position Summary:The Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting, supports the Company's external financial reporting and equity accounting processes, including SEC filings, earnings releases, stock-based compensation accounting, technical accounting research, implementation of new accounting standards, and related financial statement disclosures. This position reports to the Manager, SEC ReportingCore Responsibilities :SEC ReportingAssist in the preparation and review of the Company's SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy Statement, registration statements, and earnings releasesCoordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial informationOwn the filing tie-out process, ensuring consistency across financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedulesMaintain and enhance Workiva processes, including roll forwards, document integrity, XBRL tagging support, and version controlEquity and Stock Based CompensationOwn stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718, including expense recognition, modifications, forfeitures, and settlementsPrepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, forecasts, and disclosuresDevelop supporting analyses for management reporting, SEC filings, and financial statementsTechnical AccountingMonitor emerging accounting guidance and assess its impact on the CompanyPrepare technical accounting memoranda and disclosure analyses for significant transactions and new accounting guidanceSupport the implementation of new accounting standards and related disclosuresSOX 404 ComplianceMaintain SOX documentation and support internal control complianceServe as a key contact for assigned control areas during internal and external auditsContribute to continuous improvement of internal control processes and documentationAdditional Responsibilities (may be assigned):Support special projects, process improvement initiatives, and ad hoc reporting requests, as assignedExperience, Education and Qualifications:3+ years of experience in public accounting or 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting/financial reportingCPA or CPA candidateStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reportingExperience with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 complianceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independentlyExcellent attention to documentation details for work productContinuous improvement mindset with a focus on process optimization and efficiencyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamWorkiva experience preferredAbility to sit and/or stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 15 poundsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
