MIG Welder

Our client, a leader in heavy equipment manufacturing, is seeking a MIG Welder to join their team. As a MIG Welder, you will be part of the Fabrication Department supporting the production of structural steel components used in grapple trucks, loaders, and hydraulic equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, teamwork, and a strong work ethic that align well with the organization. ***If you're a new graduate of a welding school or about to graduate you're encouraged to apply*** Job Title: MIG Welder Location: Lake Wales, FL Pay Range: $20-$23 DOE Shift: 6 am-2:45 pm OR 3:00 PM - 11:45 PM What's the Job? Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on carbon steel and structural components used in manufacturing heavy equipment. Weld structural assemblies including truck frames, loader arms, mounting plates, outriggers, and grapple support structures. Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, fractions, decimals, welding symbols, and work instructions. Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning metal surfaces. Operate welding machines and related fabrication equipment, ensuring weld quality and structural integrity. What's Needed? Minimum 3 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or heavy equipment environment. Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Experience welding structural steel components. Ability to operate welding equipment safely and effectively. What's in it for me?
