CORA's Community Service Division is currently hiring a full-time After School Site Director to work at Northwood Academy Charter School, located at 4621 Castor Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19124

Schedule: Monday through Friday: 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.

Site Directors are expected to work every week of the year, with the exception of predetermined CORA Holidays or PTO requested days off.

Location: Northwood Academy Charter School

Pay Rate: Starting at $44,000

YouthCOR Site Directors are expected to travel from CORA's Main Office (19111) to their program site daily. All CORA team members are expected to uphold the mission, vision and values of CORA Services which includes valuing all individuals and supporting each individual's potential for growth.

In addition, as a Site Director your duties will include:

• Build impactful relationships with children, youth and families.
• Engage students, families, and other community agencies to connect families to the program.
• Become a pillar in the school community by building and maintaining relationships with school administration, teachers, families and other stakeholders to ensure program visibility and community support.
• Complete administrative duties to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Design high quality, fun and engaging programing in literacy, STEAM and social emotional learning.
• Create a safe environment for all staff and students though best practices in policies and procedures.
• Grow and Supervise passionate leaders into role models and advocates for the youth in the program.

Site Director Qualifications:

• Associates' degree with 30 credits in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field; or
• Associates' degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field; or
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field.

Physical Expectations:

• Walk and stand for the duration for the shift (4 hours during school year, 8 hours during summer).
• Walk at a pace to stay with a group of children during field trips. (Length of walking varies for trip).
• Transition between sitting, standing and kneeling, as needed.
• Lift and carry 25 lbs.
