Job Title: Commercial Collections Specialist
Job at a Glance: This role involves managing high-profile commercial collections and accounts receivable for large customers, often with accounts worth millions. The position requires problem-solving to resolve billing issues and facilitate payments, primarily through inbound and outbound calls.
Work Schedule: 100% Remote
Available Shifts: 10a-7p EST M-F or 8a-5p EST M-F
Pay Rate: $18/hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
Duration of Contract: 6-month contract with extension/conversion possibility
Responsibilities:

• Contacts customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to determine reason for overdue payment.
• Arranges for debt repayment or establishes repayment schedule based on customers' financial situation.
• Receives payments and posts amounts paid to customer accounts.
• Issues daily reports on the status of delinquent accounts and tracks collection efforts.
• Performs various administrative functions for assigned accounts, such as recording address changes and purging the records of deceased customers.
• Keeps up-to-date on working applicable state and federal laws regulating collection activities.

• Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or similar high-volume call center roles.
• Ability to handle 50-100 calls per day in a fast-paced environment.
• Notice: There is a zero tolerance policy for time off within the first 90 days of work - this includes tardiness and call-outs
