The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. The nurse will work on a night shift, guaranteeing 36 hours per week. The unit cares for patients in Med Surg, oncology, neuro, and palliative care. Patient ratios are 6:1 in a 41-bed unit. The candidate must have skills in assessment, IV insertion, Foley insertion, and NGT placement. The ideal candidate will exhibit commitment, curiosity, communication, and connection. Dress code includes navy scrubs. Candidates should be prepared to float when needed. Weekend hours will be required every third weekend. This position does not require call. The equipment used includes Alaris IV pumps and the EMR system is EPIC.
