Responsibilities Physical therapists assess patients, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy in facility settings. You teach patients and caregivers skills for independence and productivity, work collaboratively with peers, and refer patients as needed. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in state(s) of practice (or proof of license and eligibility). Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, or a Master’s degree in a physical therapy related field plus a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy. Or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and at least 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience. Degrees earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated as U.S. equivalent to a PT degree.
