Entry-Level Forklift Operator

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Forklift Operators in a fast-paced distribution center. In this role, you'll safely operate a stand-up forklift while picking, packing, and building customized pallets of canned and dry goods for shipment to grocery stores and major retailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift in a high-volume warehouse environment
• Accurately pick and pack products based on customer orders
• Build and stage pallets customized for each store or client
• Use a voice/headset-directed system to receive instructions and navigate the warehouse
• Move efficiently between locations to collect and organize items
• Ensure pallets are secure, properly labeled, and meet quality standards
• Perform general warehouse duties including material handling and order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of stand-up forklift experience preferred OR 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to stand for 810 hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Experience with order picking, packing, or palletizing is a plus
• Comfortable working in a production-driven, fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow voice-directed (headset) instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Experience

• General labor or warehouse experience
• Familiarity with voice-picking systems

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
