Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Kissimmee, Florida. This role involves providing specialized care within the Labor and Delivery department during night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and must meet the specified qualifications.

Job Details:

• Position: Labor and Delivery RN
• Location: Kissimmee, Florida
• Shift / Time: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
• Hours / Week: 36 hours
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Night shift with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Valid nursing license in the state of Florida
  • Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • EMR System: Cerner
  • Supervisor approval for float status is not required; float may be within Women's department if needed
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Additional Information:
  • No call requirements
  • Six weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule are required
  • Minimum experience: 0 years (open to candidates with less experience)
  • Travel is not required
  • The traveler must pass the GNOSIS-EFM course, proctored by the unit before the start date. Candidates with their American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification do not need to take this course. Failure to pass will result in assignment cancellation, with no retesting for 6 months.
