Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Shift : Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., overtime as needed
Client Overview
You'd be working at a materials science manufacturing plant, supporting engineers by setting up machines, collecting and analyzing production samples, and helping improve manufacturing processes.

What You'll Do
- Support engineers in improving manufacturing processes through machine setups
- Collect and analyze production samples
- Collect and analyze process data
- Plan the sequence of operations for experimental trials
- Conduct tests and measurements throughout production stages to monitor key process variables
- Independently solve the vast majority of problems by examining pertinent facts and evidence
- Seek direction on issues that cross functional areas or have broad impact
- Coordinate activities beyond routine daily tasks
- Recommend process improvements and meet or exceed deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance
What We Need From You
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred but not required
- 7 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working closely with engineers and manufacturing operators
- Strong problem solving skills, able to work independently through ambiguity
- Familiarity with spreadsheet based data analysis tools
Preferred / Bonus
- Associate's degree in a related technical field
- Experience with statistical process control or experimental design
