The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our family law practice. This is an opportunity for a seasoned legal professional with 5-10 years of family law experience to take on a leadership role within a dynamic, high-caliber firm. You will manage a sophisticated caseload, and work closely with firm partners on complex matters. What You'll Do Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, legal separation, child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, property division, domestic violence restraining orders, and adoptions Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, declarations, and related legal documents Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy Appear at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Communicate with clients in a compassionate, professional manner Collaborate with partners and senior associates on strategy and case management Maintain accurate case records and timely billing entries What We're Looking For J.D. from an accredited law school Active California State Bar membership (or eligibility to waive in) 5-10 years of Family Law experience Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent verbal communication and client-facing abilities Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive client matters Deep knowledge of California family law procedures, courts, and local rules required Demonstrated ability to independently manage a complex caseload and client relationships Experience mentoring junior attorneys What We Offer $175,000 - $300,000 annually, commensurate with experience and amount of hours billed Mentorship from experienced family law practitioners CLE reimbursement and professional development support Clear pathway for career growth and advancement Harris Ginsberg LLP is an equal opportunity employer.
