About This Opportunity

CTI Staffing is partnering with a growing healthcare technology organization to find two Desktop Support Technicians for their team based in Plantation, FL. This role exists because of team growth - the client needs technicians who are genuinely hands-on, comfortable working directly with hardware in place rather than remotely.

This is not a network engineering role and not a phone/helpdesk support role. It's built for people who want to be on their feet, at the desk, solving problems in person.

What You'll Do

• Provide onsite, hands-on desktop and hardware support across the office
• Physically inspect, troubleshoot, and repair workstation hardware issues
• Get under desks and into tight workspaces to diagnose and resolve equipment problems
• Support end users directly, in person, rather than via phone queue
• Partner with the broader IT team as the organization scales
• Document work performed and escalate issues appropriately

Requirements

What You Bring

Must-Have:

• Willingness and physical ability to crawl under desks and perform hands-on hardware inspection
• Genuine hands-on desktop/hardware support experience - not primarily phone-based helpdesk or network engineering
• Level 2 support experience, ready to operate independently with minimal training
• Experience supporting Windows environments
• Experience working in Zendesk or a comparable ticketing system
• Comfortable troubleshooting a range of hardware (desktops, peripherals, general office equipment)

What Success Looks Like:

• Physical hardware issues resolved in person, reliably and independently
• Level 2 tickets closed without escalation, at full productivity with little to no ramp-up period
