Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Third Shift Mechanic/ Fleet Mechanic in Syracuse, NY area!
Hours for the role need to be flexible, anywhere from 9 pm -7 am
- The candidate must have general knowledge of the operating principles of diesel engines and associated components.
- Must be mechanically inclined and, with help, be able to make some essential diagnoses and repair all of the components of tractors, trailers, and dollies.
- Must be proficient in PM services, with an ability to spot and detect pending failures and problems.
- Must be familiar with 12V electrical systems and be able to perform basic repairs to these systems.
- Should be computer literate and have some basic welding knowledge and ability.
- A/C certification and New York State Inspection certification are a plus.
- Must have their own tools that are adequate for the tasks to be performed.
