Senior Account Manager Strategic Initiatives

- This opportunity is within the sales organization of the Lubricant Additives Business Unit (LAB) and will be responsible for identifying, validating, and launching new revenue opportunities through market expansion and strategic partnerships. The role bridges field sales insights with structured gotomarket execution to deliver measurable growth results.
- Lead and execute sales driven new market entry opportunities e.g. new segments, applications, customers aligned to business strategy (SIA -Esters, Refrigeration, Personal Care; Asphalt, etc).
- Lead cross-functional sales driven market entry initiatives into new segments, industries, regions, or customer groups.
- Track and report performance using defined KPIs; communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Key Account Management, accountable for deepdive opportunity identification and commercialization and expanding share-of-wallet through strategic account plans, crossfunctional execution, and structured gotomarket actions.
- Bachelor's Degree, MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development or Commercial Strategy roles is ideal. Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in those same roles may be given consideration. The compensation will be commensurate based on years of experience.
- Experience in adjacent markets, such as Esters, Personal Care and Asphalts is necessary.
- B2B commercial experience, including strategic account management and complex negotiations with demonstrated experience in lubricants (and/or related industrial fluids/chemicals) markets.
- Strong commercial acumen (pricing, margin management, contract terms and basic financial analysis).
- Must be resultsdriven and comfortable operating between strategy and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without formal line authority.
- Experience in complex opportunity management and crossfunctional deal execution.
- Excellent communication, executive presence and stakeholder management skills are crucial.
- Ability to travel domestically approximately 50 percent of the time and on occasion internationally.

- Compensation We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program. The established pay range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. Please note, the actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
