Job Summary:
The Baltimore, Maryland, Emergency Room (ER) is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to join the team on a rotating shift schedule. The position involves working 36 hours per week, with a rotating schedule that includes two out of twelve weekends, and holidays as needed per unit. This role requires a minimum of two years of recent experience in an emergency level II trauma environment, along with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN).

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC or ATCN; two or more years of ER experience at a level II trauma hospital; location in Baltimore, Maryland.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior employment within any Johns Hopkins health system facility; experience with trauma and emergency procedures.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have prior experience in emergency level II trauma settings, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. Prior employment history must reflect positive performance, and applicants with previous Johns Hopkins system experience must have been away for at least one full year before applying as a traveler.
